Steve Ferraiuolo is a Creative Testing Solutions board member. With nearly 20 years of executive-level experience in the healthcare sector, Steve brings a wealth of knowledge and strategic leadership to the organization.
Currently, Steve is the senior vice president of Vitalant blood services operations. In this role, he provides leadership and guidance across multiple operational areas, including manufacturing, hospital services, inventory management, and reference labs and transfusion services. He has been instrumental in leading strategic planning efforts, budget development, and operational efficiencies. He has also been involved in guiding cultural and operational integration efforts for multiple organizations within the Vitalant corporate structure. His career began in the blood industry at BloodSource (now Vitalant) in Sacramento, CA, where he held various leadership roles.
Steve's expertise extends to community engagement having created a Community Leadership Council and having served as a member of the Sacramento Metro Chamber Board. Steve has a strong ability to maximize collaboration through positive leadership, trust, and integrity. His critical competencies include strategic planning, operational optimization, change management, and non-profit governance. Several organizations have recognized him with awards, including the Upton-Hemphill Award from the California Blood Bank Society, where he also served as a past president.
Steve holds a bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in business from Santa Clara University and a master’s degree in health administration from the University of Southern California. His extensive industry experience and strategic vision is invaluable to CTS as we continue our pursuit of our vision.
