On February 18, 2019, the New CTS Laboratory Information System has been successfully implemented in Tampa. We complete any pending result uploads and resume scheduled result uploads. Congratulations on this important success!    
On April 29, 2019, CTS will begin performing Donor-Screen HLA® Class I and II testing on the Stratec Biomedical AG Gemini. This instrumentation change is necessary as Bio-Rad is discontinuing service on our existing QuickStep instrumentation. Although the Immucor assay and sample requirements will remain the same, the package insert has been modified to state the assay is specific to the Stratec Gemini instrument. As a service to our partners, CTS provides a copy of all licenses and accreditations on our website. Many of the licenses have recently renewed and are now available. On a related note, the FDA registrations are in a new format beginning in 2019 and have also moved to using standard dates, with each registration beginning on 01/01 and ending 12/31 of each year. As previously mentioned in Zika communications distributed on September 21 and October 12, 2018; ordering pooled Zika as well as access to the improved CTS website will be available on January 1, 2019. We are currently scheduling validation appointments in December with clients who plan to implement a Zika triggering protocol.
